Child Labor and Forced Labor

Rui & Candeias, S.A. respect free association, recognizes Syndicated entities as legal representatives of employees and seeks constant dialogue. Likewise, Rui & Candeias, S.A. advises that its suppliers and service providers also respect the right of all its employees to organize themselves through associations or unions, in accordance with the laws in force and that maintain the constant dialogue with such organizations. Negotiations and dialogue with entities should be made only by the formally authorized persons.
Harassment and Abuse of Power
The Labor Code prohibits harassment and provides punisher for its practice, in accordance with article 29 of the Labor Code.It constitutes a disciplinary infraction of the practice of harassment by any worker, regardless of is duties. Harassment at work is an unwanted behavior (gesture, word, attitude, etc.) practiced with some degree of repetition and aiming at either to affect the dignity of the person or to create an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or destabilizing environment .Harassment is moral when it consists of verbal attacks of offensive or humiliating content, and physical or subtle acts, which may include physical and / or psychological violence, aimed at diminishing the victim's self-esteem and, ultimately, workstation.Harassment is sexual when said unwanted behaviors of a verbal or physical nature take on a sexual nature (sexual invitations, sending sexual messages, embarrassing physical contact, blackmail for employment or work progression in exchange for sexual favors , obscene gestures, etc.).Rui & Candeias, S.A. does not admit of abuses of power or harassment, such as sexual, economic, moral or any other nature, nor situations that characterize disrespect, intimidation, physical violence or threat in relationships, internal or external.Any person who considers himself discriminated, humiliated, prejudiced, abusive or in disrespectful conduct by employees, third parties, managers, representatives, suppliers or service providers of Rui & Candeias, S.A. should communicate with Human Resources Department, using the contact channels available.Rui & Candeias, S.A. strongly condemns the practice of such acts and therefore guarantees that there is no reprisal against the complainants.
